IHive: My Senior Capstone

iHive is a GitHub-inspired repository platform for ideas, designed to connect innovators and investors. It enables users to showcase their ideas, find potential funding, and collaborate on impactful projects. With AI-powered tag generation, advanced search, and collaboration tools, iHive aims to revolutionize idea sharing.

AI-Algorithms Project

This is my AI-Algorithm's Project that explores and compares various optimization algorithms for training a logistic regression model on the MNIST dataset to perform binary classification (digit "0" vs. all other digits). The algorithms implemented manually using NumPy include Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), SGD with Momentum, and the Adam optimizer (with and without bias correction). Each method’s performance was evaluated based on training loss convergence, highlighting the impact of hyperparameters like learning rate and momentum. The goal was to deepen understanding of how these optimizers function under the hood.
