GitHub-Inspired / Shark Tank-Style Web Platform for Entrepreneurs and Investors
Role: Lead Front-end/Full-Stack Developer | Team Size: 4

• Developed a full-stack web application designed to connect entrepreneurs with investors by allowing users to post innovative ideas. After an Investor has found their perfect investment, they can contact the user and initialize a collaboration. Inspired by GitHub and Shark Tank, the platform includes collaboration tools, real-time chat, and AI-powered features for enhanced discoverability and matching.

Key Features:

• AI-Powered Tagging & Search: Integrated OpenAI API to auto-generate tags and enhance idea discoverability.

• Collaboration System: Role-based permissions for idea editing (Public, Protected, Private).

• Real-Time Chat: Enabled investor-innovator communication using WebSockets (Socket.IO).

• Authentication: Implemented secure login/signup using Supabase Auth.

• Investor Matching (Planned): Exploring AI/ML models for automated investor recommendations.
